SWIM WITH ALOHA
empowering swimmers through Hawai'i-centered learning
Established in 2022, we are taking swim instruction to a new level by designing relevant and engaging lessons with the community at the heart of what we do.
OUR MISSION
We are developing Hawai'i-centered swim lessons, combining the very best of recreation, cross-cultural education, and conservation to create a state-of-the-art educational experience that is made in Hawai'i for Hawai'i.
Our mission is to build a community of skilled and resilient swimmers who are in tune with their environment and take pride in the local culture.
Currently, 50% of Hawaiian kids cannot swim, and we are committed to developing a swim model that removes the barriers to entry. It is our goal to make accessing and booking quality swim lessons as easy as possible. Aloha Aina is our core value, we dedicate 50% of our profits to the land, water, and healing the community.
50% of all profits from Learn to Swim are dedicated to investing directly in local-led initiatives, projects, and organizations that will help restore, conserve and protect our land, and water and heal our local community for future generations.
PERSONALIZED SWIM INSTRUCTION
Each swim lesson is tailored to meet students, of all ages and abilities where they are at, and work towards their swim goals.
LOCAL WATER SAFETY KNOWLEDGE
Students learn water safety skills relevant to their local beaches and waterways, building their knowledge and empowering our swimmers.
Ola i ka wai | Water is life
Each lesson builds a deeper understanding of our connection to water and the importance of protecting and preserving our local water sources. We share and encourage the use of Hawaiian words associated with swimming, the ocean, and water conservation.
NEXT STEPS
We are dedicated to building strategic partnerships with local organizations, experts, and educators to develop our core learning materials. We are excited to see where these partnerships and developments lead! To get involved please contact us.
